Distraction Squirrels

We're the Distraction Squirrels, Co-Chairs of Sudden Side Quests. We're responsible for Camp activities, special projects, interesting discoveries, and several committees we formed because something seemed important at the time. There are three of us, which should make delegation easier, but mostly means we can notice three different things at once.

You'll find us all over Camp. We might be setting up archery, helping inventory the supply shed, or halfway up a tree because somebody spotted something shiny from the ground. We keep excellent lists, although we frequently start new lists before finishing the old lists. Camp administration recently gave us one shared clipboard in an attempt to simplify operations. We have misplaced it.

We're very good at finding things nobody was looking for, including shortcuts, abandoned trails, unusual rocks, better pencils, and once an entire canoe. We're also responsible for the Camp scavenger hunt, mostly because nobody can tell when we're officially running it. Our office is technically in the Activities Cabin, but if you need us, your best bet is to yell, "Hey, what's that?" and wait.
